The homestay is a great option for those TEFL students looking for a family oriented setting that offers a private room, daily home cooked meals, and the opportunity for immersion in the local culture and daily life, and to practice Spanish around the clock. Our kind and helpful host families in Buenos Aires vary from young married couples, to solo parents with older children, to older señoras living alone.

TEFL students wanting independence will likely be most comfortable in a private room in our shared apartments. Students will live in an apartment in Buenos Aires with as few as two people or as many as a dozen other people (relative to the size of the apartment), sharing responsibilities, preparing meals, etc. The other roommates are local or foreign and often young professionals, working or studying in the city.

For TEFL students who are looking for more of a back-packers atmosphere, independence, and a chance to live with other travelers, we offer two hostel options in the city. Each hostel has been inspected for distance to our TEFL institute, safety and security, cleanliness, amenities, etc.
* NOTE FOR TEFL STUDENTS: Please keep in mind that hostels are very social atmospheres, which is great for travelers and English speakers, but should be taken into consideration for study hours and lesson planning that will be completed outside of class!
Hostel BA Stop
This cozy hostel, in the middle of downtown and only a block from 9 de Julio and Avenida de Mayo, near to the business centre, shopping streets, restaurants and cafes, and many forms of transportations. The hostel has 6 person dorms with separate male and female bathrooms, and each room has free security lockers.
