1. Be dedicated to your position and your students.

As a TEFL teacher you learn many things about your student such as their likes and dislikes, their interests, history, future goals, etc. For this reason, it is important to be dedicated to both your position as a teacher as well as to your student, always putting the best interest of your student first.
2. Get yourself out there! Network, network, network.
The only way to get a good job(s) in Buenos Aires is to get your name out there. There are plenty of TEFL teachers in Buenos Aires however, there are more than enough jobs to match, so it is a matter of putting yourself out there, making a great CV, and making interviews. Depending on whether you want to work as a private teacher, classroom teacher, tutor, etc, will make a difference in how you look for a job and how many jobs you look for. If you are teaching privately, you will want to land a few clients so that you can make a fulltime schedule, this take networking and making contacts.
3. Have confidence in your ability and be the best TEFL teacher around!
It is important to have confidence when you are a TEFL teacher for both you and your students. Your students want to have a teacher that is one the ball, knows what they are talking about, has the answers, etc. So be confident in your skills and always do you best. This also relates to jobs and employers; make sure that you are being paid a fair wage, with good hours, and respectable schedules. Don’t be greedy but also don’t let anyone take you for granted!
