The Tango Festival will run from August 14 until the 23 and will feature numerous free performances, exclusive tango shows, classes, seminars, and much more, all celebrating the history of tango and both traditional and modern versions of the tango.   Tango is a huge part of the Argentine culture and locals here truly enjoy this yearly festival, many taking off work to see the incredible public shows.

Teaching English Idea:
Since most of your Argentine students will know about the tango, its history, etc, it would be a great idea to focus on other forms of dance throughout the world and combine any similarites, vocabularly, etc, and use it as a lesson in your classroom in order to create a connection between an Argentine tradition and other traditions around the world.
