My professional story began in airline customer service at the Buenos Aires International Airport, where I had the opportunity to frequently travel, work extensively in client service, and learn about other cultures and people. Every time I came to a new destination I asked myself: is there a better way to learn? After many years of studies at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, I received a degree in Education; besides academic knowledge, those years where formative in my development of deciding what is important from a class. I believe that education is not just instruction, but an experience of the senses, which has enabled us to offer our Expanish students a living experience, not just language courses.

Half Argentine and half French but born and raised in Buenos Aires, I am what you would call a real "porteña". I have lived in Buenos Aires almost all my life, except for six months after finishing High School that I spent in Puerto Vallarta, México, where I worked selling colour changing products! When I came back to Buenos Aires, I became a teacher and worked in an elementary school for four years. I've also worked as a Spanish teacher for foreigners. At the same time, I studied Educational Science at the University of Buenos Aires.

I was born in Australia but I have lived in the United Kingdom since I was very young. I studied Business & Finance in university, which lead me to working for a medical insurance company for 5 years in the Sales & Marketing department. I took a career break and spent 6 months working on the Greek island of Zakythos as a holiday representative for tourists before returning to the UK to work in Sales & Marketing again for a distributor and installer of big screen televisions and plasmas in bars & clubs. I was in need of another career break and took myself off backpacking around Latin America. I have now been living in Buenos Aires for 1 1/2 years.

I grew up in the suburbs and city of sweet home Chicago, where my interests in languages, arts, education and business were kindled and fueled. My formal education culminated with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Spanish and Dance and I've been lucky enough to try my hand at myriad occupations along the way: most notably as a customer service manager for an organic food market and a professional Tango and Flamenco dancer. Buenos Aires has been home for about a year now and I learn something new about this city and myself every day that I'm here!
