Teaching English Overseas Accreditation
Our Downtown and Recoleta institutes offer a TEFL course in Argentina that has been designed using a strict set of internationally recognized guidelines in order to create high quality teaching English abroad in Buenos Aires courses.
- Our Downtown Institutes TEFL course is based on and follows the same curriculum offered by the University of Cambridge's CELTA course, an international standard in TEFL certification.
- Our Recoleta Institute is accredited by a national awarding body based out of the United Kingdom.

Classroom
Our TEFL in Buenos Aires class sizes are small in order to promote effective learning and ensure sufficient time for group work and individual attention. Our Downtown institute offers classes with a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 10, while our Recoleta classes have 6-18 students).
Instructors
Our instructor base is made up of education professionals, who all meet strict TEFL qualifications, as well as have experience teaching English overseas. Each instructor is also selected on their personal attributes such as personality, mentality, and character.
Class Content
Classes are comprised of class lectures, discussions, group activities, and role-playing and where students will be taken through the following six major units of learning:
- Language Analysis & Awareness
- Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening
- Learners & Teachers
- Teaching Skills and Professionalism
- Lesson Planning & Resources
- Observed Teaching Practice (8hrs)
The observed teaching practice is one of the most crucial parts of the TEFL course as students will experience what it is like to professionally plan lessons, teach at different learning levels, and teach English in a classroom and one-on-one.
Interaction and Participation
Our course places a strong emphasis on student interaction and participation through group activities, group discussion, role-playing, and teaching practice. Each give the students the skills and confidence needed to teach, motivate, and communicate with future students.
Teaching English Overseas Experience
All students must complete 8 hours of observed teaching practice; this allows students to receive professional teaching feedback as well as experience what it is like to teach English abroad in Buenos Aires.
